Although Alcione has received nineteen gold records, five platinum, a double platinum, it took me until 2019 to be dazzled by
the sparkles of that Brazilian sun that has been shining over them for more than forty years! A discovery that I owe to Anders who opened is set with it at the Goulash Festival and which blew my mind for a long time to come. Spectacular, invigorating, intoxicating, exhilarating, phenomenal, I could go on and on and on with similar adjectives and yet I would still feel like I haven’t said enough!

Alcione a dix-neuf Disques d’Or, cinq de Platine, un Double Platine et il m’a fallu attendre 2019 pour être ébloui par les reflets d’un soleil Brésilien qui les fait briller depuis plus de quarante ans ! Une découverte que je dois à Anders qui a ouvert son set avec au Goulash Festival et qui, par la même occasion, m’a décoché une sorte de K.O. dont j’ai mis du temps à me remettre. Grandiose, vivifiant, enivrant, exaltant, prodigieux, je pourrais aligner les adjectifs de ce genre pendant encore des lignes et des lignes. Et j’aurai toujours l’impression de ne pas encore en avoir dit assez !
