A huge bass line and some heavy brass stabs, this is one of my favourite discoveries from the West Indies. A big problem however, when compiling this release was the fact that it was originally released on Debs, the Godfather label of Creole music. The rights of the catalogue was fortunately in in the hands of people who understand the wealth of this musical heritage. Without going into too many details, let's just say that I benefited from a sort of “fast track access” enabling me to include it on here. Those who have allowed this will understand.
