This track means a lot to me cause it is the first vinyl record on which you can hear a Guts' beat!
It was the first Alliance Ethnik's EP album on French record label DELABEL.
That track doesn't appear on the album.
Here's the instrumental version (pretty scarce).
Some of you may have recognized the sample from Ronnie Foster "Mystic Brew", also used by A Tribe Called Quest.
On a side note, i did that beat before ATCQ, but they were real quick and their album dropped just before our first 12 inch.
At that time, a sample was and stayed attached to who used it and pressed it first.
lyrics
The main goal of this retrospective is to set a brief overview of my carreer,
because a few parts of it are unknown especially to those of you who are following me
since my debut solo album "Le Bienheureux".
The second goal is to raise funds to help me produce my next album,
and also be able to collaborate with guest artists on this concept-album.

After listening to Degiheugi's large discography, my choice settled on this album. It seems to me to be the most successful. I appreciate the richness of hiphop trip-pop jazzy-chill nu-soul sounds. The French vocal are amazing. jef37
