There were two remixes of that track, first one which is pretty famous and brilliant by Prince Paul,
and a second remix by me. I really wanted to split from the original and from Prince paul's remix.
So i worked on a louder beat, kicking hard and New-York-ish!
I also like that remix because of the way the rapper (Kamel) sings and his particular flow.
That day, he had a hoarse voice, a unique recording session in the band history...

The main goal of this retrospective is to set a brief overview of my carreer,
because a few parts of it are unknown especially to those of you who are following me
since my debut solo album "Le Bienheureux".
The second goal is to raise funds to help me produce my next album,
and also be able to collaborate with guest artists on this concept-album.

After listening to Degiheugi's large discography, my choice settled on this album. It seems to me to be the most successful. I appreciate the richness of hiphop trip-pop jazzy-chill nu-soul sounds. The French vocal are amazing. jef37
