With his impeccable shiny skull, his black glasses, his eternal and immense smile, Manu Dibango was able to trigger an afro-funk blaze with just a few notes played from his saxophone. He will have indeed embodied with perfection what an Untamable Lion from Cameroun was. After his passing in March 2020, Voilààà paid tribute to him with a three track EP entitled Manu Écoute Ça. This particular track with its Latin, African and even Creole vibes, with the presence of David Walters, is a true celebration to which I systematically invite people to dance.

Son crâne impeccable, ses lunettes noires, son éternel et immense sourire, son saxophone qui pouvait déclencher un brasier afro-funk en seulement quelques notes : Manu Dibango aura incarné à la perfection ce qu’était un Lion Indomptable du Cameroun. A sa mort, en mars 2020, Voilààà lui a rendu hommage avec Manu Ecoute Ca, un EP trois titres. A la fois latin, africain et créole avec la présence de David Walters, ce morceau là est une véritable célébration à laquelle je convie systématiquement les danseurs.
